Sensory processing disorders

Sensory processing disorder is a condition in which the brain finds it difficult to receive and respond to information that comes in through the senses.

While sensory processing issues are now widely recognised, sensory processing disorder is not currently recognised formally within the widely used diagnostic manuals for clinicians.
